Trainer J's

From out of town, and i have been to a few card shops in the area. Trainer J’s is always brought up when I ask for recommendations, I’ve gone a few times. Other than the size and inventory, which is obviously a huge factor, its kinda 50/50. 1.) its hit or miss with the staff, one time I went and there was a really friendly worker. Another individual I’ve dealt with more than once seems like he could care less to be there, and when i ask questions about product he seems to not be super informed. 2.) they do honor market prices, so if something is stickered higher, they work with you. 3.) they have a ton of cards not on display, and you arent allowed to look through them. They said if i am looking for something in particular, they can check for me. I guess i can understand why maybe? But no other card shops really do that, so thats a negative for me. Not a bad shop at all, idk the staff there can be off putting in my opinion compared to most shops I go to. Depending where you are, i would 100% recommend Twisted Cardboard or CardivoreTCG

Really cool things here and friendly staff. We don’t have stores like this where I’m from so I’ve been really loving this place. Got my 2nd ever ETB from here and the prices aren’t bad either! There’s always a great selection

Ive been to alot of LPS in the surrounding states and this one tops all of them. They have tons of sealed products (some i didnt even know existed) and a surprisingly amount of specific singles (im a gengar collector) that i was trying to fill my PC. Great staff. Great prices. Great atmosphere. What a blessing to the pokemon community (i live 3 hours away so im kinda jealous). P.S. Even my wife was amazed (she doesnt do pokemon lol)

Good guys and genuine fans. I've brought in a few singles and some bulk on separate occasions. Both times were great. Shot straight with me about prices, made fair offers. Took time to look through my collection for cool cards not just those of value. Awesome selection of singles and packs

Really wanted to give it another star, but I've yet to buy anything from this store. I've browsed it a few times and sold a card or two. Trade/Cash values feel pretty close to market. Prices on singles are decent and close to market. Prices on sealed product is a little more pricey than other local options. On employee friendliness I'd say it's about 50/50. One of the guys that I usually see in there is pretty nice and always asks if I need any help. The guy from the other day wasn't very welcoming though and was kind of rude. Trainer J's is a nice card shop, but not my first pick.
